Not everyone found Clint Eastwood’s joke on Caitlyn Jenner funny in fact many people believe that it was rude and inappropriate and as a result Spike TV has stated that it will be cutting it out for the show’s broadcast which is set for 18th June.
Many people who attended the taping of Spike TV’s Choice Awards that was held on June the 6th believed that the 85-year old took things a bit too much when he made an inappropriate joke about 65-year old Caitlyn Jenner. Spike TV is agreeing with them and as a result it will not be airing Clintwood’s joke on Caitlyn Jenner come 18th June when they will be broadcasting it.
Eastwood made the now famous Caitlyn remarks when he was in the process of introducing Dwayne Johnson popularly known as “The Rock”. While introducing “The Rock”, Eastwood compared him to other athletes who have retired and later became actors. He went on to give examples of, “Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody…” how hush.
When contacted for comment with regards to the developing incident, Spike TV stated that they will be, “remove the [Caitlyn Jenner] reference in the version [of the Guy’s Choice Awards] that will air.”
One thing that Eastwood got right was the fact that the joke wouldn’t work, something that he told the producers of the show before the show started. This actually not the first time that the 85-year old is being involved in a controversy, back in 2012 he pretend to be talking to President Obama believing that he was sitting next to him.
